ABOUT US
We are a Brooklyn-based landscape design and build studio creating thoughtful, enduring outdoor spaces throughout New York City. Our work is rooted in horticulture, craft, and a great respect for how gardens evolve over time. The studio brings together design, construction, and long-term maintenance under one roof, allowing us to guide projects from initial concept through years of care. We believe the most successful landscapes are not just well-designed at installation, but are actively managed as living systems.
Our approach balances creative vision with practicality--combining strong spatial design, durable materials, and plant-forward thinking. Whether building a new garden or caring for an established one, we work closely with clients to create spaces that feel personal, resilient, and deeply connected to place.
CAIT HENKE
FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL

Cait has worked in New York City gardening and landscape design for over 15 years. They hold an undergraduate degree from the University of Miami and a graduate degree in Landscape Design from Columbia University. Cait oversees the studio's design and construction work, drawing on extensive experience in horticulture, detailing, and hands-on building.
MEGHAN HENKE

she/her
Meghan has lived in New York City for nearly 20 years and has worked in professional gardening for the past ten. After college, she spent time WWOOF-ing, gaining field experience in sustainable agriculture and land-based work. She manages the maintenance division, focusing on the long-term care and adaptation of clients' gardens. Meghan brings a steady, detail-oriented approach to operations, plant health and seasonal stewardship.
